Tallowood School implements the Reading Our Way program for a cohort of students. Reading Our Way is an exciting reading program that has been designed by the Down Syndrome Association of Queensland. It has been designed to teach early reading and word recognition to children based on the latest research around how students with an intellectual disability learn. The program teaches sight words through fun, interactive and engaging activities.
